The Freedom Quarter
Het vrijheidskwartier *The Freedom Quarter* regularly organises activities centred on the theme of freedom. A number of these activities take place at Visum Mundi.
The location where our freedom was forged on 5 May 1945 and where you can help shape it once again today. With an awareness of the historical significance of this unique place, we look back and look ahead. Because the definition of freedom looked very different in 1945 than it does today. What did it mean to your parents or grandparents? And what kind of freedom are we passing on to the next generation?
Various exhibitions are held in the large ground-floor hall.
For example, Het Vrijheidskwartier regularly organises CineScience Freedom Edition. This is an event where scientists discuss themes relating to freedom in an introduction to a film.
