Signature Room
On the ground floor of Visum Mundi, we have created the Signature Room. This room can accommodate 20 guests.
The collaboration between Visum Mundi and Het Vrijheidskwartier – Visum Mundi’s conceptual partner on matters of freedom and the experience of freedom – has found its permanent home here. Wednesday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday until 2:00 pm, you can watch the screening of Elements of Freedom here – free of charge. This ‘Freedom Experience’ is a compelling multi-screen presentation lasting approximately 15 minutes that takes you on a journey into the story of freedom; an audiovisual experience in which imagery, sound and music come together.

You can also watch the film Wageningen Wereldstad *Wageningen World City*. This film, approximately 16 minutes long, explores the ancient landscapes, from the moraines and floodplains to the hay meadows where agriculture and nature come together. We see how Wageningen developed from a fortified town into an industrial city and eventually into an internationally recognised city of knowledge. Made by the creator of Grutto! and Hooiland.

After visiting the Experience, there’s always time and a place for a delicious ‘Elements of Freedom’ Coffee & Pastry combo in our theatre lounge. Just ask for it at the bar.
In the evening, the auditorium will be used to screen films bearing our signature Visum Mundi stamp. From small-scale arthouse films to topical documentaries, right through to exceptional feature films that broaden and deepen your view of the world.
